The address book allows you to manage all addresses that have been used on your platform. Every address that is announced is automatically saved for future use in the address book.

1. Actions
As a user, you can do four actions in the address book:
- Searching for an address (1)
- Adapting an incorrectly geocoded address (2)
- Deleting the entire address book (3)
- Deleting a single address (4)
2. Purpose
When an address is announced by file or API, it is automatically geocoded to determine its coordinates (longitude & latitude). Urbantz manages the link between the source address and the geocoded address, which can be visualized and adapted in the address book.
If an address is announced a second time, the coordinates are taken from the address book. The address does not need to be geocoded again, which saves time.
A source address that could not be geocoded correctly and according to the standards set on the platform (Flow > Geocoding) will appear as a geocoding error. It should be corrected by a user to be used and added to the address book like any other address in the address book (see How to correct validation and geocoding errors?).
