Our contactless option enables you to ask for delivery or pick-up confirmation, without any physical contact between the recipient and the driver's phone, pencil etc.
The recipient will receive a four-digit PIN code in a notification that has to be provided to the driver in order to validate a delivery or pick-up.
To activate the contactless option, you have to activate the corresponding requirement in the flow and create a notification.

1. Flow setup
The contactless option has to be configured per flow (Administration > Flow > requires) and is available for deliveries and pick-ups.
❗️To activate the contactless option you have to deactivate the signature. Using both options at the same time is not possible.
❗️Bear in mind that this option is not possible for a Sender platform.
2. Notification setup
The PIN code can be communicated to the recipient by notification and it will also be visible on the tracking page.
To set the notification up, go to Administration > Platform > Messaging and create an automatic notification, selecting a trigger for sending notifications.
In the notification content, you have to add the corresponding variable.
The PIN code will automatically be added to the tracking page.
3. PIN validation by drivers
If the contactless delivery is activated, the driver will be asked to enter the PIN code to confirm the delivery.
The PIN code needs to be entered in the corresponding field and confirmed by clicking on "Confirm PIN code":
If for any reason, the PIN code can't be provided, the driver can force the delivery/pick-up by clicking on "Force without PIN". A reason will have to be provided in the following step.
If a transaction was forced without a PIN code, the reason will be displayed in the task details.
