Introduction to the Insights Feature
The Insights module is a powerful tool designed to provide users with a clear and data-driven overview of their operations. From efficiency tracking to performance analysis, Insights helps businesses make informed decisions based on key metrics and historical trends.
Accessing Insights
The Insights module can be accessed directly from the menu. However, only users with the necessary permissions can view it.
Key Dashboards in Insights
The module includes several dashboards, each providing essential data points to evaluate and optimize operations:
•Efficiency Dashboard: Tracks key operational metrics, including the number of deliveries, locations, round times, distances traveled, and vehicle utilization.
•Performance Dashboard: Focuses on performance and quality, providing insights into delays, failed deliveries, and customer satisfaction.
•Carriers, Hubs, Senders, and Drivers Dashboards: Allow for comparisons between carriers, senders, hubs, and drivers based on efficiency and performance metrics.
Each dashboard offers filtering options by platform, hub, sender, and driver. Additionally, users can select specific date ranges and aggregation periods (daily, weekly, or monthly) to tailor their data views.
Exporting and Viewing Data
Insights makes it easy to extract and analyze data:
•Printing Reports: Each page of the module can be printed using the button at the top-right corner.
•Exporting Data: Graphs and tables can be exported in Excel or CSV formats. To do so, simply hover over a graph, click the “…” menu, and select the desired format.
•Viewing Data in Table Format: Users can switch to a full-screen table view from the same menu and return to the dashboard by clicking “Back to Report.”
•Spotlight Mode: This feature highlights a specific graph for better visualization.
Understanding Date Ranges and Data Aggregation
The Insights dashboard is updated once per day, ensuring users have the latest operational data at their fingertips.
To streamline analysis, users can select quick date ranges such as Last Week, Last 7 Days, Last Month, etc. The default selection is Last 30 Days.
Depending on the date range chosen, Insights automatically applies the appropriate data aggregation view:
• Less than 32 days → Daily view
• Between 32 and 92 days → Weekly view
• More than 92 days → Monthly view
Note: While users can select “Today” from the calendar, the latest data may still reflect Yesterday’s results due to the daily update schedule.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the delay calculation consider multiple time windows?
No, the delay only takes into account the first time window and does not consider any second time window that may exist.
Is service time included in the delay calculation?
Yes, the delay is calculated based on the completion time and the end of the time window. This means the driver must complete the task—including service time—before the window closes.
With the Insights module, businesses gain a powerful data analysis tool to optimize operations, track performance, and make data-driven decisions with confidence.
