Delivery Core - Food & Beverages

Description: The Food & Beverages Delivery Core module is composed of the foundational components of the Urbantz platform, designed to handle the complete grocery delivery value chain from order integration to final delivery execution. Description: Centralized control tower providing real-time visibility and control over all delivery operations, from order creation to execution. Combines comprehensive monitoring dashboards, exception management, and automated alerting to enable proactive operational management across multiple carriers, stores, and distribution centers with complete end-to-end traceability.

Description: The Route Optimization module is a state-of-the-art route planning and optimization engine that solves complex Vehicle Routing Problems. It creates dynamic, cost-effective delivery routes by intelligently combining pickups and deliveries while considering multiple constraints, including vehicle characteristics, time windows, driver skills, and traffic conditions. The module leverages multiple third-party optimization providers to ensure high availability and optimal results.

3. Customer Track and Trace

Description: The Customer Track and Trace offers a branded consumer communication module that provides end-to-end delivery tracking and engagement for consumers. It offers a fully customizable, white-labeled tracking page that informs customers in real-time about their delivery status, ETAs, and allows them to modify delivery preferences.

The dispatcher application enables depot operations, including package scanning, loading oversight, and returns processing. Together, they provide end-to-end digitization of delivery operations from warehouse to customer doorstep.

Provides two distinct models - Sender Portal and Associated Platforms - to accommodate different operational requirements, from full carrier autonomy to centralized retailer control, while maintaining unified visibility across the entire delivery ecosystem.

Description: The Time Slot Booking module lets businesses define and manage delivery time slots for each store or distribution center. Customers can select their preferred delivery time directly on e-commerce websites or tracking pages from available slots, with real-time availability checks based on defined capacity, geographical constraints, specific services, and existing bookings.

9. Green Time Slots

Description: Environmental optimization add-on that classifies delivery time slots by operational efficiency and applies dynamic pricing incentives to encourage sustainable delivery choices. Integrates demand forecasting and route density optimization to reduce costs and GHG emissions while maintaining customer choice and convenience through intelligent time slot allocation.

10. Optimised Scheduling

Description: Advanced real-time optimization system that continuously monitors operational changes and automatically generates potential routes to ensure demand expectations are met. Uses an intelligent orchestrator to pre-allocate orders to vehicles, evaluate capacity constraints, vehicle utilization and anticipate optimization issues. In combination with Time Slot Booking, it bridges Scheduling and Optimisation to validate slot feasibility using real capacity. It estimates actual travel times and service durations by simulating tentative routes alongside already planned deliveries. Furthermore, it enables the offering of flexible time slots with precise rolling capacity, significantly boosting planner efficiency and the quality of consumer service.

Description: Intelligent same-day delivery optimization system that replaces rigid wave-based dispatching with smart hold-and-release mechanisms. Continuously monitors incoming orders and autonomously decides which tasks to release for optimization and which to hold for better consolidation, enabling scalable same-day delivery operations without fixed cutoffs or manual intervention.

Description: Point-of-sale delivery solution enabling retail staff to create delivery tasks directly from the checkout counter when customers prefer delivery over carrying purchases. Provides comprehensive delivery management tools for in-store teams using tablet or mobile devices, with integrated customer repository, automatic label generation, and professional printing capabilities.

15. In-app Anonymous Calling

Secure communication between drivers and customers through automatic phone number masking. Integrated Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technology ensuring GDPR compliance and complete call traceability in task history.

Secures communications while facilitating driver-customer contact.

Note: This module is an add-on to the Mobile application module

16. Insights & Reporting

Components:

Route audit

Post-route monitoring analyzing all deviations from forecasts: late starts, exceeded service times, delivery delays. Quick visualization of issues to identify necessary corrective actions. CO2 tracking per delivery/route and calculation of route and delivery costs.

Statistics and KPIs

Historical reporting with performance graphs and efficiency statistics. Detailed KPIs by carrier, store, sender, and driver with export to your BI systems and advanced analytics integration.
