The announcement page is the data entry point of Urbantz. Every announcement done can be found back here under the condition that it is for the current day or the future. Past announcements can't be accessed anymore (as opposed to the tasks).
Geocoding and validation errors are displayed per announcement line. To learn how to handle them, please refer to Correct geocoding and validation errors.
If you have multiple announcements for the same day and hub, they will be grouped together in one line.
In order to view them individually, you can expand the selection.
Note: In the announcement, in the expanded details view, you will see the number of tasks for each batch. It can be that some batches have less tasks than the total, like above, we see 18/19. Why is that?
Since the announcements are grouped based on date and hub, the cause is usually that some of the tasks that were announced in the same batch belong to a different date or hub.
On the right side of each announcement line, optimizations can be launched in order to create rounds. For more details on the optimization, please see: How to optimize/create rounds
Good to know:
When tasks are optimized within the Round Editor tab, the announcement page will display those tasks as "Not Optimised".
FAQ
Q: I am on one of my carrier platforms, and I cannot see anything in the Announcements page, although I announced tasks for this platform through the mother (owner) platform.
A: The cause is most likely an incomplete configuration inside the carrier platform. Please verify your Hub configuration and ensure that an optimization is selected. Otherwise, the optimization belonging to the mother (owner) platform will be the one effective, leading you to not see the announcements on the Carrier platform.
