You probably know one of the following situations :
- You manage the delivery process of purchases that were made in a store and which have to be delivered one by one or in very small batches.
- Some deliveries arrived last minute at your warehouse and you want to ship them right away without hassle.
Both cases have in common that the deliveries have to take place the same day and have to be dispatched quickly. A walk in the park with our « Round Creation » feature!

- Creating rounds
- Add tasks in an existing round
- Delete a task from a round
1. Summary
If the « Round Creation » module has been activated on your platform, you can click on the left-side menu on the tab with this name (the icon is a house) and the following view will be displayed.
This screen shows you the deliveries per hub or store that have to be done the same day and it allows you to create new rounds.
To help you distinguish which deliveries come from which store or hub, we added a filter (see 1). By clicking on the name, you can choose amongst your hubs or stores to select the one of which you want to see the tasks that are not yet part of any round.
At 2 you can see a timeline with all unplanned tasks represented by coloured dots. We use the following colour code:
- Red: the delivery time window starts in the next 30 minutes
- Orange: the delivery time window starts in the next 60 minutes
- Green: the delivery time window starts in more than 60 minutes
You can move the two black dots at both sides of the timeline back and forth to refine the time window you want to work on.
On the right side (see 3) you have two tabs: tasks and rounds. The task tab shows the tasks that are not yet part of any round with their delivery time window, their address and their dimensions. The most urgent tasks are on top of the list and the least urgent are at the bottom. The colour code is the same as described above.
By clicking on a task of the task list, the usual task overview will open, containing all available information on that particular task.
The round tab allows you to see all rounds of the day. Similar to the way it works in the tasks tab, you will get to see the usual round information by clicking.
You can check the box in front of « Display only received tasks » to only display deliveries or purchases for which the preparation is finished.
2. Creating rounds
There are three ways to create rounds :
- Selecting tasks by drawing a rectangle on the map :
- Selecting tasks by drawing a polygon on the map:
- Selecting tasks by checking their box in the task list on the right:
Once a task is selected, its colour changes. In this example, it became bright blue.
From the moment on when at least one task is selected, the button “create rounds” is activated. You will see the following window appear when you click on it.
In the two drop-down lists, you can choose the driver and the vehicle you want to allocate to the new round. By checking the “Hide drivers of ongoing rounds” box you can prevent drivers to be allocated to two rounds at the same time.
By clicking on the (+) you can create additional new rounds.
If you want to delete a round you can do so by clicking on the little wastebin next to the round, in the right side round tab.
To modify a round, we recommend using the Round Editor.
3. Add tasks to an existing round
It’s of course, possible to add tasks to an existing round. To do so, select the tasks and click on “add to round”.
A new menu opens, allowing you to choose a round. To help you in your choice, and if a vehicle is assigned to the existing round, we indicated the sum of all dimensions of the tasks included in the round next to its name (here 200kg, 50L).
Be careful and keep in mind that adding tasks to an ongoing round is not possible.
4. Delete a task from a round
Deleting a task from a round has to be done via the task itself.
When opening the task details, you get to see “search for rounds”.
When you click on it, a new window opens and in the bottom left corner you have “remove”. Click on it and save the changes.
After saving the deletion you also have to confirm.
