Optimization errors and how to fix them – URBANTZ | SUPPORT

This document explains the most common issues encountered with ESRI which is the main optimization service provider for Urbantz.
On the platform, tab "Announcement".
When an optimization is done and errors are flagged, an error log button appears.

When clicking on it, a pop-up window opens displaying the reasons.

The user can then dive deeper by clicking the high-level reason and a list with codes/reasons appears.

The eye symbol on the left, allows the user to see the task with the error.
The codes are listed below and they show what actions would be needed in order to change and/or remove the error message

1	The preassigned orders can't be assigned to the route, since assigning the orders would exceed the maximum number of orders that can be assigned to the route as specified by the MaxOrderCount field on the input routes.	Fleet configuration > Max Order
2	The preassigned orders can't be assigned to the route, since assigning the orders would exceed the total route capacity as specified by the Capacities field on the input routes.	Fleet configuration > Truck Capacity (kg, volume, other dimensions)
4	The travel time from the start hub to the end hub plus the service and wait times at both hub and any break exceed the total time for the route as specified by the MaxTotalTime field on the input routes. 8	The travel time from the start hub to the end hub exceeds the total travel time for the route as specified by the MaxTotalTravelTime field on the input routes.	Fleet configuration > Max time
16	The travel distance from the start hub to the end hub exceeds the total travel distance for the route as specified by the MaxTotalDistance field on the input routes.	Fleet configuration > Max distance
32	There is a hard time window violation on the start hub, end hub, or break associated with the route.	Hard constraint on time windows Possibility to allow time window violation time (optimisation > optimisation > advanced mode) OR Allow delivery before the time window (General > Approx arrival)
64	The specialties required by an order are not found on the target route.	Check if labels/skills are correct Check if fleet with labels are available Check if the fleet assignation has vehicle available with labels Check drivers have to correct skills
128	An order that was preassigned to the route does not fall within a hard route zone.	Check the task and correct address or GPS coordinates. It can also be a one way street or the vehicle type is not allowed
256	An order pair is pre assigned to the route, and assigning the orders in the order pair would exceed the maximum transit time for the order pair as specified by the MaxTransitTime field on the input order pairs.	A pair order (with the same task ref) for pick up or delivery is already assigned to a round. Adding the order will exceed the allowed time on the road
512	An order belongs to an order pair and can't be assigned to the preassigned route.	A pair order (with the same task ref) for pick up or delivery is already assigned to a predefined round and can't be added.
1024	A preassigned order is located on a street that cannot be reached by the route.	Unattainable address. Verify delivery coordinat and/or the type of road/vehicle to access the address.
